I’m Puzzled

Whether you agree or not. He’s got the whole world in his hands.

What puzzles me is not this fidget toy in the shape of the Earth. It is that people and my area on this planet seem oblivious to what is already taking place in other countries. Ours is coming, sooner than I ever imagined.

If I had known, I would have been better prepared. I don’t believe there is time now.

Throughout my life, I thought of the timing of these unfolding tribulations. Never did I imagine it would be in my lifetime.

My realization of this picked a good time to manifest within me. I would not have been mentally prepared even six months ago.

There is one big factor. I’m not full of fear. There is a newfound faith and relationship with God I haven’t had in a long time. My heart was filled with hate, no room for God.

I let go of the hate and traded it for faith. I recommend you do the same. I am no longer a lost puzzle piece.

Call Your Psychiatrist

Everyone smiles for the camera

I know the importance of routine mental health appointments throughout the year. It did not occur to me the entire six weeks I laid in bed my depression and anxiety in full swing.

I assumed it had only been a few months since my last mental health visit. In fact it had been six months.

This week I had a visit with my long time psychiatrist. He reminded me that if I am struggling in between visits that I can call for a visit.

It’s amazing the insight and advice from someone outside my usual sounding boards. Where am I going with this? If you are sad, anxious, depressed or having a hard time functioning in this crazy world we live in. Seeking help can make a huge difference. Tell someone else your crap can really lighten your load.
